Job Description Summary Position Responsibilities: • Make sure that all safety protocols and precautions are adhered to throughout the department • Check sheet metal material type, thickness, length, and width • Set up CNC turret punch and turret/laser equipment to punch out sheet metal parts • Observe CNC turret punch for tooling lineup, loose tooling, and broken punches • Load and unload skids of sheet metal with a forklift or overhead crane and empty slug bins • Train and supervise new CNC turret punch operators • Schedule routine maintenance on machines and arrange for service in a timely manner • Use precision measurement tools Requirements: Education & Experience: • Proficient at operating the CNC turret punch, including running programs and changing dies and/or punches based on job requirements • Proficient at sharpening turret punch dies and punches on the tool sharpener • Ability to read and understand blueprints and production drawings • Demonstrated ability to teach and train others in the use of the CNC turret punch • Bilingual English/Spanish competence a plus Base Pay Range: $23.06 - 31.70 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
