Construction Estimator and Project Manager Property Management Division (Part-Time | Remote) Company: Silicon Valley Construction Services Role Overview: Silicon Valley Construction Services (SVCS) is seeking a Construction Estimator and Project Manager to support construction and civil projects through remote estimating, coordination, and project oversight. This is a part-time, remote role focused on cost estimation, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and deal support through project closure. This position is well-suited for professionals who are organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with experience managing construction-related tasks in a remote environment. Work Structure: • Part-time, remote position • Availability required for scheduled virtual meetings during Pacific Time (San Francisco hours) • Ongoing coordination with internal teams, clients, and city representatives via virtual meetings and reporting • Estimating, documentation, and follow-ups completed remotely Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review construction cost estimates, budgets, and quantity takeoffs • Support scope validation and cost analysis for proposed and active projects • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and action items • Prepare for and attend meetings with internal teams, clients, and city representatives • Track permits, compliance items, and required documentation • Review project updates, reports, and submitted materials • Maintain accurate estimating files and project documentation • Support projects through to successful deal closure Qualifications: Required: • Proven experience in construction estimating and/or project management • Experience supporting construction or civil projects • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Reliable internet and consistent availability for virtual meetings Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred but not required) • Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) (not required) • Experience coordinating with municipalities or permitting authorities • Familiarity with California construction or civil requirements A Civil Engineering degree and/or PE license is not required. Candidates with strong hands-on construction experience (including estimators, foremen, or field supervisors) are encouraged to apply. Compensation & Incentives • $1,000 guaranteed monthly base pay • $500 bonus for every successfully closed deal • Unlimited earning potential based on performance High performers can significantly increase their monthly income through deal closures. Bonuses are paid upon company verification of closed deals and completion of required documentation.
