Job Title: Consultant, Architecture Remote 12 Months Job Description The Architecture Consultant will serve as a technical expert responsible for designing, architecting, and guiding the implementation of solutions within the Microsoft 365 (M365) ecosystem. This role demands advanced expertise in Power Platform development, .NET technologies, SharePoint administration, and Azure services. The ideal contractor will be skilled in designing scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise solutions, while collaborating with business and technical teams to align architecture with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities • Architect, design, and oversee solutions built within the Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud Suite for large corporate or government environments. • Lead architectural planning and solution design leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI. • Provide architectural direction and hands-on development guidance using .NET technologies C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Develop and review PowerShell scripts to support automation, governance, and system reliability. • Provide architectural expertise for Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD, and related Azure services, ensuring alignment with security and performance best practices. • Lead Microsoft 365 development and SharePoint Administration, including complex integrations, solution governance, and architectural standards. • Architect and guide the development of Canvas and Model-Driven PowerApps, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business needs. • Lead customization of SharePoint lists and integrations with disparate systems using PowerApps and M365 tools. • Design and enforce governance around user permissions, data retention policies, and compliance configurations within the M365 ecosystem. • Integrate modern capabilities using Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder, ensuring architectural standards are met. • Troubleshoot and provide escalation support for complex issues across the full M365 cloud platform, including AvePoint Online Services. • Communicate architectural concepts and technical designs clearly to leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams. • Build, influence, and maintain strong relationships with business units to ensure architecture aligns with organizational objectives. Required Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or architecting Microsoft 365 cloud environments in large corporate or government organizations. • Advanced experience with the Microsoft Power Platform PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate. • Strong .NET development expertise (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework). • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Strong experience designing and reviewing PowerShell scripts for automation. • Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD, and the Azure environment. • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 development and SharePoint Administration, including large-scale architectural planning. • Demonstrated ability to architect PowerApps models and complex SharePoint customizations. • Experience managing permissions, compliance, and data governance across M365. • Knowledge of Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder. • Strong troubleshooting skills across the M365 and AvePoint platforms. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and executive-level audiences. • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships across departments.
