Coordinator - Operations & Logistics
COORDINATOR – OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS CT / NYC based consumer soft goods distributor is looking for an organized and detail-oriented person to manage the company’s operations and logistics functions. This is a remote position for the candidates located in the U.S with the qualified status working in the U.S. MAIN FUNCTIONS • Management of the import / logistics process • Primary contact with freight forwarders • Primary contact with third party warehouse • Inbound shipping • Data management and entry INVENTORY MANAGEMENT • Reconciling inventory across ERP, warehouse system and selling platform. • Establish and monitor inventory accuracy and implement controls to prevent loss. • Replulishment stock program inventory management. INBOUND SHIPPING/RECEIVING • Manage all daily operations of the inbound shipping and receiving process / documentation • Manage Advanced Shipping Notices for 3PL • Resolve any shipping or receiving errors and complaints from vendors and carriers • Process and maintain inbound backorder records PRODUCTION ORDER MANAGEMENT • Creation and submission of factory purchase orders • Creation and completion of item carts • Creation and transmission of bar code stickers to factories REQUIREMENTS • College degree or at least 2 years work experience in similar role • Extremely detail oriented • Comfortable working with numbers and excel • Experience with inventory management system preferred • Experience with NetSuite ERP a plus • Italian language skills a plus but not required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits: • Employee discount • Paid time off Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
