Position Overview: As the Cost Accounting Manager at Auradine, you will establish robust cost accounting practices, enhance financial accuracy and be involved in strategic decision-making. This role involves analyzing costs, developing budgets, and implementing cost control measures. By fostering efficient processes, the role ensures the financial foundation that will support future growth, scalability, and profitability of the company. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive cost accounting policies and procedures. • Oversee and manage the analysis of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and increased profitability. • Direct the development of accurate cost estimates for new products and product changes to support pricing decisions. • Provide management-level support for budgeting and forecasting activities, including conducting variance analysis and cost trend analysis. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting of inventory, costs of goods sold, and other financial data. • Direct the development and maintenance of costing models that adhere to industry best practices. • Assist in the creation of business plans, financial models, and other analyses related to new business initiatives. • Closely monitor and analyze cost drivers, trends, and performance metrics to identify and implement opportunities for improvement. • Work with Operations department on inventory management and product planning. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or hardware company. • Experience with silicon or chip companies is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, Oracle, and other relevant financial software. • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: The national pay range for Cost Accounting Manager roles is $79,000 and $165,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience aligned with Auradine’s internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
