Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. This role will focus on preparing complex individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns, as well as reviewing returns prepared by staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and passionate about tax planning and research. Key Responsibilities: Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Review tax returns prepared by staff members, providing feedback, training, and technical guidance. Conduct tax planning for clients, identifying opportunities and strategies to minimize liabilities. Perform in-depth tax research and draft clear, concise technical memos and recommendations. Communicate proactively with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and planning opportunities. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent application of firm procedures and best practices. Work efficiently in a paperless , technology-driven environment. Qualifications: Active CPA license required. 5 years of recent public accounting tax experience with 2 years review experience Strong technical knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws. Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns. Proficiency with tax research tools and paperless workflow systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
