Credit Analyst

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage a multi-million-dollar portfolio of retail store accounts. The role involves advanced financial statement analysis, underwriting retailer loans, and mitigating risks to protect the Cooperative from financial losses. Responsibilities Analyze and decision new Member Applications within designated authority and territory Underwrite Loan Applications within designated territory Determine appropriate credit limits within designated authority and territory Disposition blocked retailer orders timely and in line the retailer's risk profile Establish payment plans to resolve retailer past due balances Skills Ability to quickly read, interpret and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income and cash flow statements, and proforma data to produce a professional written analysis Manage a portfolio of accounts including setting credit limits, order release, and working with past due retailers to develop solutions and payment plans as needed Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, well organized and able to perform with limited supervision in order to work effectively within various deadlines and time constraints Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and negotiation skills Proficient with SAP or equivalent ERP system, MS Office Suite, database queries and reporting A four year business degree (preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting) Familiarity with business and credit laws and prior experience working with legal contracts Benefits Incentive opportunities, based on role/grade level (rapid company growth over the past 5 years resulted in incentives being paid out at an average of 122% of your target opportunity!)
