About the Role The Customer Service Advisor position is a critical component of our customer support team, responsible for providing top-notch service and resolving customer inquiries via various channels, including inbound and outbound calls, and internet interactions. As a Customer Service Advisor at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service that meets or exceeds contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and utilize decision-support tools to provide effective resolutions Listen attentively to customer concerns, demonstrate empathy, and build rapport to create a positive experience Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, adhering to established procedures Maintain a basic understanding of client products and/or services to provide accurate information and support Prepare complete and accurate work, including notating accounts as required, and track customer interactions in our call tracking database Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance, and offer additional products and/or services as needed Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff when necessary Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma, with three to six months of relevant customer service experience preferred A courteous and customer-centric approach, with a strong orientation towards delivering exceptional service Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with the ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally Dependability and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment A patient and professional demeanor, maintaining a pleasant tone and manner in all customer interactions Flexibility to rotate shifts as needed, and willingness to work in a dynamic environment Preferred Skills and Competencies In addition to the essential qualifications, we look for: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective resolutions Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly changing environment Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
