Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at GEICO, you'll be the first point of contact for our policyholders, providing exceptional customer service and support. You'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers' lives by answering their questions, resolving their concerns, and offering personalized recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders via phone, email, and chat Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner Make policy changes, answer billing questions, and provide recommendations to customers Utilize computer software and systems to access customer information, process transactions, and maintain accurate records Work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments to provide informed support to customers Qualifications and Skills To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at GEICO, you'll need: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the insurance industry Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues Strong attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities What We Offer At GEICO, we're committed to providing our associates with a comprehensive Total Rewards Program that includes: Compensation: $20.00 per hour / $40,300.00 annually Opportunities for base salary increases of 10-15% within the first year Benefits: Premier medical, dental, and vision insurance with no waiting period Paid vacation, sick, and parental leave 401(k) plan Tuition reimbursement Paid training and licensures Career Growth and Development At GEICO, we believe in investing in our associates and providing opportunities for growth and development.
