Key Responsibilities: Conduct In-Person Training Sessions: Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions on Operation Vulcan Logic, focusing on the Risk Management Framework (NIST 800-37 r2) and its implementation. Ensure that training sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs of diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders. Content Development: Create and update training materials, including presentations, hands-on exercises, and case studies. Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to enhance training programs and ensure that materials are accurate, relevant, and effective. Assess Training Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback and metrics. Adjust content and training methods as necessary to ensure that training programs meet their intended objectives. Serve as a Knowledgeable Resource: Provide guidance and support to participants, addressing questions and assisting with practical implementation challenges. Serve as a knowledgeable resource on cyber security best practices, frameworks, and operational procedures. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with instructional designers, content developers, and other trainers to enhance training programs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative training methods and technologies into training programs. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field is required. Cyber Security Knowledge: Strong knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity Policies, Information Security, NIST, and the Risk Management Framework is essential. Engineering Background: An engineering background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts is highly desirable. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role. Microsoft Office Tools: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Tools, particularly PowerPoint, is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Training: Experience in training or education is highly desirable. Cyber Security Certifications: Relevant cyber security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, are preferred. Experience with Operation Vulcan Logic: Experience with Operation Vulcan Logic or similar systems is highly desirable.
