With a focus on employee growth and development, we offer a dynamic work environment that's perfect for those looking to take their careers to the next level. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Technician at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Entering data into computer or database systems with accuracy and efficiency * Reviewing discrepancies in data received and requesting clarification when necessary * Advising supervisors of any issues related to data * Performing data verification routines in accordance with established procedures and deadlines * Producing reports and printouts as needed * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records * Collaborating with team members to achieve common goals **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) * One (1) year of data entry experience (Data Entry Technician I) * Two (2) years of data entry experience (Data Entry Technician II) * Three (3) years of data entry experience (Data Entry Technician III) * Completion of a data entry course (preferred) * Completion of medical terminology and/or ICD-9 Coding (preferred) **Computer Skills** To perform this job successfully, you'll need: * Knowledge of Database software * Knowledge of Word Processing software * Ability to operate a computer and other general office equipment **Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations** * Valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for blithequark underwriting rating * Must not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) **Physical Demands** While performing the duties of this job, you'll be regularly required to: * Sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls * Talk or hear * Occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl * Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds * Have close vision and the ability to adjust focus **Work Environment** The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to employee growth and development.
