Data Quality Analyst, Statistical Reporting

They are seeking a detail-oriented Statistical Reporting Analyst to support the data quality unit, ensuring accurate data management and reporting across various departments in the organization. Responsibilities Support team needs for ISO, State, and WC Bureau reporting Analyze and test data and remediate data quality issues arising from Data Store testing Remediate data quality issues arising from ‘day to day’ analysis by individual team members Proactive review of data to ensure adherence to data management standards Work with various IT departments as needed to update/enhance existing validation logic, as well as create new validations where appropriate Work with stakeholders to understand business and data flow processes to support the implementation of the data transformation and innovation initiatives Strong knowledge of Commercial and Specialty Insurance Lines of Business including Commercial Automobile, Property, General Liability, Cyber, Crime, Inland Marine, Workers Compensation, Lenders and Surety Analyze current processes for inefficiencies, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement appropriate actions Skills Detail-oriented and motivated Statistical Reporting analyst Strong understanding of key insurance concepts & data Experience with querying insurance databases using Snowflake and other database tools Support team needs for ISO, State, and WC Bureau reporting Analyze and test data and remediate data quality issues arising from Data Store testing Remediate data quality issues arising from ‘day to day' analysis by individual team members Proactive review of data to ensure adherence to data management standards Work with various IT departments as needed to update/enhance existing validation logic, as well as create new validations where appropriate Work with stakeholders to understand business and data flow processes to support the implementation of the data transformation and innovation initiatives Strong knowledge of Commercial and Specialty Insurance Lines of Business including Commercial Automobile, Property, General Liability, Cyber, Crime, Inland Marine, Workers Compensation, Lenders and Surety Analyze current processes for inefficiencies, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement appropriate actions MS Office, including a proficiency in Excel Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Knowledge of statistical plans and insurance premium and claims data Strong understanding of insurance concepts for both policy and claims A minimum of one to five years' experience in a Statistical Reporting, Underwriting, or similar role College degree preferred SQL and Snowflake experience preferred Experience with insurance database systems a plus Familiarity with Insurance Bureau ISO/ISS Reporting a plus CPCU, IDMA, or other relevant designations a plus Benefits Multiple medical plans plus dental, vision and prescription drug coverage A competitive 401k with generous matching PTO beginning at 20 days per year Up to 12 paid company holidays per year plus 2 paid days of Volunteer Time Offer Basic Life and AD&D Insurance as well as Short and Long-Term Disability Paid Parental Leave of up to 10 weeks Student Loan Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement Backup Child and Elder Care Company Overview Arch Insurance Group Inc., a division of Arch Capital Group Ltd.
