Data Warehouse Architect (Oracle Fusion)

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Data Warehouse Architect (Oracle Fusion) to join our team. Employer asks for I-9 information. JOB SUMMARY This role will lead the design and implementation of our enterprise data warehouse solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining an enterprise data model, developing logical and physical schemas, creating detailed architecture and design documentation, and implementing tabular data models using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). _ QUALIFICATIONS_ • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in data warehousing, BI architecture, or enterprise data modeling. • Must have Oracle Fusion experience. • Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server for data warehouse design and schema development. • Experience with cloud data warehousing platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake. • Strong proficiency in SSAS Tabular Models, DAX, and MDX. • Deep understanding of enterprise data modeling, dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon), and schema design. • Proficient in developing and maintaining architecture and design documentation. • Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance tuning. • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory. PREFERRED • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, master data management, and data security best practices. • Experience integrating Power BI or other reporting tools with SSAS tabular models. RESPONSIBILITIES • Define and maintain the enterprise data model, aligning it with business objectives and data strategy. • Design and implement data warehouse schemas (star, snowflake) in Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Create and maintain architectural documentation, including data flow diagrams, data dictionary, schema designs, and design patterns. • Develop tabular models in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) to support advanced analytics and reporting. • Collaborate with stakeholders, BI developers, data engineers, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into data architecture designs. • Ensure consistency and data integrity across source systems, staging layers, data marts, and reporting layers. • Lead and participate in data modeling, metadata management, and data quality initiatives. • Drive data architecture best practices, governance, and standards across the organization. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data and analytics team.
