Planned Retirement Consultants & Administrators, LLC provides services to more than 1,500 plans in 30 states ranging in size from one to thousands of employees. PRC&A is a full-service actuarial consulting firm providing Third Party Administrative (TPA) services to 401k and Defined Contribution plans, as well as Actuarial Services to Defined Benefit plans. TYPE OF JOB: Full Time RESPONSIBILITIES: Defined Benefit Plan Administration - Review census data collected and enter data into administration software, - Perform reconciliation of trust assets and accounts, - Prepare contribution allocations, - Testing Corrections, - ADP/ACP/401a General Testing, - Top Heavy Testing, - Nondiscrimination testing, - Employer calculations, - Distributions, - RMD Calculations, - Contribution Correction, - Trust/Contribution Reconciliation, - Loan Balancing, - Plan Compliance Checks, - Prepare DB valuations, - Create valuation reports and prepare Form 5500. Plans include Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, & Combo Prioritize activities and manage time to provide quality client service effectively and efficiently to your assigned plan block Ensure that our commitments to our clients are met by proactively reviewing the status of assigned plans' periodic activity (compliance testing, 5500, quarterly statements, RMDs, etc.) Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by PRC&A to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to PRC&A or our clients Develop effective working relationships with team and internal departments to provide effective service for our clients Provide effective and timely verbal and written communication in a clear, concise, and informative manner to clients and financial advisors. Maintain and continue to grow detailed knowledge and understanding of retirement plan rules and PRC&A business REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in a business related field - 2-5 years of pension administration or related experience - Experience with DATAIR Pension System valuations and ASC DGEM Software is recommended - Proficient with Microsoft Office Word & Excel - Possess strong time management, organizational, problem solving, customer service and communication skills - Able to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail BENEFITS Our employees enjoy benefits that make them more productive and contribute directly to the development of their professional skills.
