Our Values • Earn trust and demonstrate integrity • Build meaningful relationships • Value continuous learning and growth • Be creative and resilient Be intentional The Position We are seeking a dependable self-starter who is able to execute senior-level tasks associated with compliance, financial management and bookkeeping to ensure clients are in accordance with FEC and state reporting guidelines and tax regulations. The position works independently and in a team setting, communicating frequently with clients and building relationships. This position is 100% remote with the ability to come into the DC office as often as desired. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$92,500. Duties include, but are not limited to: Client Services • Manages a portfolio of connected clients in the connected division. • Manages accounts payable/receivable and assists with payroll, insurance, taxes, and merchant accounts for clients. • Responsible for various FEC and state report preparation. • Reviews FEC and state reports at a detailed level. Responsible for report reconciliation and quality control. • Helps to resolve client issues, or escalates, as necessary. • Serves as point of contact for clients for budget and financial management services. Management Duties • Assists Director in supervising team members. Supervisory duties include: assisting in managing quality control of team members’ client work products (reconciliations, budgets, weekly reports, etc.), managing workflow, coaching/mentorship, general accountability and assisting with training new employees. • Supports team members regarding regarding FEC and state compliance rules and reporting processes. • Advises on compliance-related issues as they arise in connection with fundraising, communications, use of funds, best practices, etc. (including review of all printed materials). • Acts as pro tem Director in the Director’s absence Education and Experience The successful candidate holds a degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience and has a minimum of five years’ experience with campaign finance and regulations.
