Job Title: Visual Designer, Digital Products Job Location: Hybrid/Remote: Columbia, MD Job Type: Part-time (20-25 Hours Weekly) Pay Type: Hourly (W-2 and 1099 Opportunity) Compensation Range: $45-$55 Hourly Company Overview: Quotient has been building digital experiences that empower and inspire the American people for over 25 years! We are actively searching for a visual designer for digital products. The resulting work will be a high-visibility digital project. Position Description: Create and manage visual design for websites and related digital projects. Candidates are creative artists, interested and capable of producing engaging designs that meet the needs and interests of diverse audiences. Successful candidates have team collaboration experience, ability to interpret and manage art direction, and a compelling portfolio of visual and graphic design success. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of modern web standards, UX/UI, and WCAG Accessibility standards. Candidates are competent with Adobe Creative Cloud design tools and Figma. Responsibilities: • Lead visual design for digital projects as a creative partner with our clients, using innovative design thinking that puts customer experience first. • Conceive, develop, refine, and execute on-strategy, on-time, visual design that delivers on the creative brief and client objectives. • Advocate for brand standards and review all work with a critical eye and cultural awareness and sensitivity. • Collaborate and foster relationships with multiple clients to present, refine, and champion work, confidently recommending solutions to further the effectiveness of our partnerships. • Exhibit the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects under tight deadlines, meeting all time and quality objectives while complying with regulatory requirements, policies, and processes. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, graphic design, or related discipline. • 3+ years of experience in visual design, graphic design, or illustration for digital projects with a strong portfolio in diverse mediums and channels. • Superior communication and visual art skills, including the ability to conceptualize and originate visual stories and themes. • Demonstrated experience working effectively with content providers, UX specialists, developers, and other partners to develop collaborative digital products. • Demonstrated personal commitment to designing products that are culturally literate and appropriate, and meet the needs of diverse audiences. • Prior experience with Figma.
