Development Lead, Partner Engagement Status: Full-time, exempt Reports to: Director of Development Location: Remote (U.S.-based; regional focus assigned) Travel: 75% travel required Introduction Are you passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God in the Middle East? Near East Organization (NEO Leaders) is at the forefront of a movement that has started over 9,450 Discovery Bible Study groups and introduced 141,750 new followers to Christ last year alone in over 30 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe! As our Associate Director of Development, you will have a direct impact in engaging churches and individuals to support and pray for this crucial work. We are seeking a mission-driven, relationship-focused leader who is excited to help NEO Leaders engage new and existing partners in supporting our vision to see the name of Christ proclaimed among the nations. Essential Details 1. Pipeline Development, Prospecting, and Frontline Fundraising • Proactively identify and qualify new prospective partners (churches, individuals, and foundations) within an assigned U.S. region. • Build and manage a pipeline of small to medium potential partners through strategic outreach, warm referrals, and networking. • Build and maintain a portfolio of small to medium annual fund partners with a focus on increasing monthly givers. • Prioritize moves management strategy to cultivate relationships from initial interest to active financial and prayer partnership, as well as increased giving over time. 2. Relationship Management & Stewardship • Cultivate and steward long-term relationships with current and potential partners, focusing on deepening engagement, increasing giving capacity, and sustaining support. • Represent NEO at church gatherings, partner events, conferences, and one-on-one meetings—both to cast vision and report impact. • Collaborate with the Director of Development to align partner engagement with organizational campaigns, strategic priorities, and regional goals. • Support and attend with vision trips, as needed. 3. Regional Strategy & Growth • Serve as a development representative within your region, building brand visibility and growing our base of committed partners. • Map out key hubs of influence and opportunity within your region, developing a strategic plan to engage them over time. • Equip and activate local advocates and church leaders to become multipliers of NEO’s mission in their own networks. 4. Church & Foundation Engagement • Establish and strengthen partnerships with churches—inviting them to engage missionally and financially in the work of NEO. • Equip church leaders and mission teams with tools to mobilize their congregations in support of the Great Commission in the MENA region and Europe. • Support foundation efforts led by the central development team. 5. Metrics, Reporting & Alignment • Maintain accurate records of partner activity, meeting notes, and moves management progress in the CRM. • Regularly report on portfolio performance, regional trends, and partnership outcomes. • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure messaging, data, and partner communications are aligned and impactful. Key Qualifications • Strong passion for the mission and vision of NEO Leaders. • Alignment with our Statement of Faith, policies, mission, and vision. • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, development, or partnership-based roles, ideally with Christian mission-driven organizations. • Proven ability to develop new partner relationships and manage a partner pipeline from qualification through solicitation and stewardship. • Excellent communicator—able to inspire, inform, and compel action through verbal and written messaging. • Deep understanding of and passion for the global Church and the Great Commission. • Experience leading or participating in international mission trips or cross-cultural work preferred. • Comfortable with extensive travel and independent work; self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset. • Familiarity with CRM systems and moves management strategy (experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred). • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
