We're seeking an experienced independent contractor that’s ready to grow with us by handling our digital ads, allowing us to scale efficiently while maintaining our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Job Overview As our Digital Ads Strategist and Manager, you'll take ownership of planning, executing, and optimizing ad campaigns for our services-based clients across key platforms. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, offering flexibility in your schedule while requiring consistent, professional communication and collaboration. You'll work closely with the agency owner and business manager through weekly check-ins, and you'll play a pivotal role in driving client success by setting KPIs, managing campaigns, and delivering clear, visual reporting. This position is ideal for a self-motivated expert who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment. Please note: remote does not mean informal - we require Zoom calls with video of appropriate backgrounds & audio and timeline dedication. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing the agency’s Business Manager in Meta as well as client access guidance. Develop and implement comprehensive digital ad strategies tailored to services-based businesses on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and YouTube. End-to-end campaign execution, including setup, targeting, budgeting, A/B testing, optimization, and performance analysis to maximize ROI. Proactively drive collaboration with clients and the agency team to establish realistic KPIs at the start of each engagement, ensuring alignment with business goals. Provide monthly visual reports that are client-friendly and easy to understand, highlighting key metrics, progress toward KPIs, and actionable insights to demonstrate clear value. Attend weekly 30-minute virtual check-ins with the agency owner and business manager to discuss progress, challenges, and strategy adjustments. Some client-facing calls may be required. Create ad assets (copy, images, videos) while adhering to client brand guidelines and maintaining visually striking affect. Monitor campaign performance in real-time, making data-driven adjustments to improve results and troubleshoot issues promptly. Stay current with platform updates, best practices, and industry trends in digital advertising for services-based sectors. Qualifications and Requirements Proven expertise in managing digital ad campaigns for services-based businesses on Google Ads, Meta, and YouTube; experience with LinkedIn Ads is a strong plus. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in digital advertising, with a track record of delivering measurable results (e.g., lead generation, conversions, ROI improvements). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, and YouTube Analytics. Excellent communication skills: quick to respond, professional in all interactions, and able to articulate complex ideas simply. Must maintain task deadlines within Asana. Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor, with reliable availability for weekly check-ins (typically scheduled during standard business hours). Experience in setting and tracking KPIs, with a focus on client-centric outcomes. Proficiency in creating ad creatives effectively in Canva, where possible.
