Cybervance is seeking a highly experienced, Bilingual (English/Spanish) Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations Instructor to deliver hands-on, real-world cybersecurity training. The successful candidate will be a U.S. citizen, an active-duty or recently retired law enforcement officer/detective (local or federal), and a recognized subject matter expert in digital investigations. This role requires extensive field experience, instructional expertise, and technical fluency in Spanish to train on advanced computer and network forensics, cyber threat investigations, and open-source intelligence gathering. Frequent international travel is required. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Deliver one-week in-person, instructor-led training courses internationally with focused instruction on digital forensics, cybersecurity, and threat intelligence. • Deliver courses in expert-level Spanish, with technical fluency and clarity. • Share real-world experience from complex investigations into computer systems, networks, mobile devices, social media, and cryptocurrency. • Customize course delivery for law enforcement audiences with varying levels of digital proficiency. • Represent U.S. law enforcement standards, values, and methods in international collaborative engagements. • Support ICITAP's mission of strengthening international criminal justice systems and cybersecurity capacity building. Qualifications • U.S. Citizen and current or retired sworn U.S. law enforcement officer or detective (local or federal agency). • Minimum 10 years of active investigative experience specializing in digital/computer forensics and cybercrime. • Fluent in spoken and written Spanish; capable of teaching technical concepts naturally and engagingly. • Prior experience training or instructing law enforcement officers in digital forensics. • Active membership in IACIS (International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists). • Demonstrated expertise in: • Computer Forensics • Mobile Device Forensics • Social Media Investigations • Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Investigations • Network Intrusion & Incident Response Investigations • Strong knowledge of law enforcement digital evidence handling and chain-of-custody procedures. • Ability to travel internationally to deliver one-week trainings (up to several times per year). Preferred Skills and Qualifications • IACIS CFCE or equivalent forensic certification. • SANS/GIAC certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GCFE) are desired. • Prior collaboration with federal cybercrime units or international law enforcement is preferred.
