Director of Fertility MSLs (Field)

Your role: As the Director Field Medical, Fertility, US Field Medical Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in leading, coaching, and mentoring the Fertility MSLs. Reporting to the Head of US Field Medical, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic direction for field medical initiatives and MSL activities in Fertility. Your contribution will be integral to helping us achieve our global purpose: We are united As One for Patients to help create, improve and prolong lives. Location: Field-based STRATEGY: · Set strategic direction for US Field Medical initiatives and US MSL activities in Fertility, in alignment with company objectives and brand or launch plans, as appropriate and compliant · Support the Brand or launch teams and US Medical Affairs Fertility leadership team in the development of TA, Launch and Brand strategies, as appropriate and compliant · Consolidate and communicate trends, market insights, and unmet needs identified in the field OPERATIONS: · Responsible for building, monitoring, managing and assisting with the implementation of the US Medical Affairs Fertility strategic imperatives through MSL tactical activities in the US · Set, track and provide status updates to management and US Medical Affairs Leadership Team about MSL activities and programs · Assist in development of training materials for MSLs · Support MSL development and implementation of territory Medical plans with HCPs and KOLs in assigned region, including development of significant, long-term relationships, to ensure the safe and appropriate use of company products · Responsible for hiring, retention, support on career path development, and promotion of MSLs; responsible for performance management and merit process throughout each year; coach, manage, and provide individual job enrichment developmental opportunities to MSL team · Support company-sponsored and investigator-sponsored studies (ISS), as requested from time to time · Assimilate, process, and share medical information with stakeholders · Ensure operational excellence by sharing best practices · Comply with relevant trainings and SOPs STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: · Interact and collaborate with the Head of US Field Medical, partner with other National or Regional Field Medical Directors across TAs, Fertility Medical Directors and the US Medical Affairs Leadership Team · Interact cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Drug Safety, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance and Finance to develop, deliver and align strategic plans and tactics for Fertility MSLs, as appropriate and compliant · Interact with Regional and National Directors in other TAs to leverage expertise, initiatives, programs and outcomes, as appropriate ·Interact with stakeholders in the Fertility Medical community, with given frequency and pre-defined metrics, as appropriate and compliant, and in support of MSL territory vacancies · Interact with influential members of the Fertility Medical community (HCPs/external experts) and other healthcare stakeholders (managed care organizations, government organizations, patient groups) , as appropriate and compliant · Represent company at Medical events, programs, meetings and congresses · Engage with internal colleagues (Medical Affairs department, Clinical Operations, Commercial colleagues as appropriate, etc.) in developing, delivering and participating in Medical and cross-functional initiatives Minimum Qualifications: · PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, and 5+ years’ experience in Field Medical Affairs or NP / PA in a health sciences-related field and and 6+ years’ experience in Field Medical Affairs or an equivalent combination of education and fertility clinical experience · English language competency · Excellent communication skills · 5 years experience in Field Medical Affairs · Ability to maintain collaborative relationships within a dynamic team environment · Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage and motivate a diverse work group, and maximize productivity · Normal and routine office duties · Ability to travel 60% Preferred Qualifications: • Five years clinical and/or pharmaceutical experience in Fertility • Five years of managerial responsibilities in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry • · Demonstrated advanced Fertility knowledge, relationship building and networking skills • Ability to communicate openly and share information to foster trust while encouraging constructive debate, making informed decisions, and ensuring shared commitment to outcomes. • Demonstrated willingness to take risks and stand up for what is right while prioritizing the needs and experiences of customers and patients in all decisions. • Commitment to setting and reaching ambitious goals and setting high standards while acting in the best interest of the company and taking initiative to drive results. • Uphold ethical standards and being honest in all interactions. • Ability to streamlining processes to focus on what matters and creates impact and acting quickly to adapt to changes. • Demonstrated ability to embrace new ideas, challenge the status quo, and seek innovative solutions while valuing diverse perspectives and treating others with respect and dignity. Pay range for this position: $188,500 - $282,700. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
