Director of Growth + Marketing (Remote) – Subscription SaaS + Consumer Brand
Macro Friendly Food is a fast-growing, bootstrapped brand helping families eat better, feel better, and hit their health goals — without giving up the foods they love. We combine a powerful subscription SaaS platform (macro meal planning, recipe tracking, and grocery tools) with physical products (high-protein desserts, whey protein, and cookbooks). With 13,000+ active subscribers and over 240,000 social media followers, we're profitable and focused on long-term, sustainable growth — not a "scale at all costs" mindset. We're hiring a hands-on, full-stack marketer to lead and scale customer acquisition, social media growth, and retention across both our SaaS platform and eCommerce products. This role blends performance marketing with brand storytelling and content strategy. We’re looking for someone who can drive profitable, data-driven growth — especially through social channels — while elevating the customer experience and reinforcing our mission. You’ll report directly to the founders, own marketing strategy end to end, and have autonomy to build systems, hire contractors, and test growth initiatives. What You'll Own Growth & Acquisition: • Plan and manage profitable acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, etc. • Build and optimize funnels (landing pages, lead magnets, checkout flows) • Manage CAC, LTV, ROAS, and other performance metrics • Launch referral programs, influencer/affiliate efforts, and paid social testing • Monitor analytics and reporting to make fast, informed decisions Social Media & Content: • Lead growth and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms • Develop and manage content calendars, scripts, and short-form video strategy • Collaborate with founders to scale our brand presence and storytelling • Drive organic and paid customer acquisition through social media • Manage contractors or freelancers (designers, editors, content creators) Retention & Lifecycle: • Optimize email/SMS flows: onboarding, win-backs, reactivation, promotions • Improve customer retention and experience across platforms • A/B test offers, subscription pricing, and bundles to increase LTV • Support the launch of new products and seasonal challenges You're a Fit If You… • Have 3–6 years of experience in digital marketing, growth, or lifecycle for a SaaS or consumer brand • Have run social-first customer acquisition campaigns that are both creative and profitable • Know how to interpret and act on CAC, LTV, churn, and funnel data • Can write captivating copy, build strategy, and manage performance simultaneously • Have worked with or managed remote teams and freelancers • Care deeply about brand, mission, and customer experience Bonus Points If You… • Have experience with female-focused wellness brands (ages 25–55) • Have built influencer or ambassador programs • Know your way around tools like WordPress, WooCommerce, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, GA4. • Have experience with content production and editing workflows What We Offer • Remote-first role with flexible hours • Base salary: $100K–$132K, with performance-based bonus opportunities • Clear path to grow into a VP or CMO role • A mission-driven, family-oriented team that actually values sustainable success • The chance to build and scale a brand people genuinely love Job Type: Full-time Pay: $9,000.00 - $11,000.00 per month Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance Application Question(s): • What’s one DTC campaign you’ve run that you’re proud of? • Where do you see the biggest opportunity for growth in a brand like MFF?
