Director of Product Marketing

Remote, USA Full-time
Talkiatry is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team. Product Marketing at Talkiatry serves three core functions: (1) Own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market of Talkiatry ’s clinical services as well as patient-facing product. (2) Coordinate the execution of patient launches with teams across Talkiatry . (3) Own the research and represent the voice of the customer for each of our key audiences, with this role serving as the marketing team’s liaison across the organization for patient marketing. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you’ll act as the primary conductor for patient-facing updates across the company. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across all of Talkiatry , including Product, Clinical, Operations, and other Marketing teams. As the first consumer-facing product marketing hire at Talkiatry , you'll have the opportunity to build our GTM playbook rather than inheriting one. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with proven expertise in product positioning, consumer-centric messaging, and market research. They have a track record of influencing product and company roadmaps, coordinating high-stakes launches, and using data to shape GTM initiatives. About Talkiatry : Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment. 60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome. With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine. You Will: Drive end-to-end launch planning and execution for new product features, clinical service offerings, and patient experience enhancements. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Clinical, Creative, and Operations teams to optimize patient journeys and integrate patient-focused initiatives into broader marketing campaigns and storytelling efforts. Establish a patient launch playbook, calendar and tiering structure, enabling Talkiatry to more efficiently bring new services and products to market. Represent the voice of the patient by conducting and synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative research, ensuring that patient insights are integrated into our marketing and product strategies. Develop and refine compelling patient messaging and positioning tailored to Talkiatry ’s mission and vision. Partner with Marketing teams to create patient-facing materials, including emails, website updates, and other educational resources. Track and analyze marketing metrics such as patient engagement, brand awareness, retention, and NPS, using data-driven insights to inform Talkiatry ’s GTM priorities. You have: 10+ years of product marketing or consumer marketing experience, including ownership of business critical launches and multi-stakeholder GTM initiatives. Candidates with 8+ years of exceptional, directly relevant experience will also be considered. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, consumer-friendly messages. Deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and developing messaging. Experience working directly with product teams, influencing product roadmaps with audience insights. Strong analytical abilities, capable of synthesizing data to drive strategy and improve marketing performance. Collaborative and adaptable, able to navigate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
