Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and implement process enhancements that accelerate speed‑to‑market for new design standards, prototypes, and project delivery. • Champion the alignment of standards delivery tools with broader guest experience, operational, and commercial objectives. • Drive platform integration between product, technical, and operational content. • Collaborate closely with Design & Construction team verticals to ensure process continuity and executional practicality. • Design structured onboarding tools, project learning modules, and process education resources for internal teams and external consultants. • Represent process and product development globally, supporting standards and systems evolution. • Maintain and update brand standard documentation tools, including digital platforms and field‑friendly guides. • Manage prototype model rooms and coordinate revisions based on design evolution or operational feedback. • Coordinate cross‑functional input to ensure prototype designs reflect regional relevance and global consistency. • Manage relationships with approved product vendors and manufacturers for FF&E/OS&E, ensuring quality, sustainability, cost‑effectiveness, and brand compliance. • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Risk teams to maintain technical design standards and performance criteria. • Coordinate with Procurement to align design intent, sourcing strategy, and budget adherence. Qualifications • 10+ years in hotel brand design or project management. • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, interior architecture, project management, or related field. • Management or people‑leadership experience. • Project Management certifications and/or architecture license (preferred). • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk AutoCAD, Smartsheet. • Strong knowledge of ADA/IBC regulations and MEP systems. • Strategic, collaborative mindset with cross‑functional fluency. • Skilled in FFE procurement and interior product/vendor selection. • Ability to travel throughout the Americas approximately 20‑30%. Additional Comments • Experience with building types, construction planning processes, and cost methods. • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications. • Flexibility to engage with a global team and adapt to evolving standards. Salary and Compensation The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. Pay will meet local requirements, including the minimum local wage rate.
