The role leads a team comprising multiple engineering managers and senior-level professionals, including both employees and contractors. It is accountable for developing and communicating functional strategies and objectives aligned with IQVIA’s overall business strategy and operational requirements. Essential Functions Manages an organization of multiple managers and senior-level professionals and ensures that a consistent design, deployment, and maintenance process is followed for all sites and systems. Oversees staffing and performance across both employees and contractors, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with contractual obligations. Develops and communicates functional strategy and objectives in alignment with IQVIA's business strategy and operations requirements. Establishes overall business strategy for the organization with significant impact on the success of company operations. Negotiates with and influences decision-making at the senior management and executive level, including cross-functional collaboration. Provides coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports; builds and directs talent-building and development objectives for the organization. Owns the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of APIs that connect various Digital products and datasets. Oversee data and engineering for core Audience data assets such as HCP data, HCN data, and platforms like AccessHCP and DMS. Manages contracts and vendor relationships to ensure delivery quality, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience Twelve (12) years of software development experience Eight (8) years of management experience Proven experience in leading global software engineering teams and delivering scalable digital solutions Strong background in API architecture, data integration, and enterprise platform engineering IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $118,100.00 - $328,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
