Clarvida is one of the largest behavioral health providers in the US. We offer Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Services throughout multiple counties in Virginia. We are seeking caring people willing to open their hearts & homes to our most vulnerable children and youth and become licensed as Treatment Foster Care Parents. About your role: Our Treatment Foster Care program offers a nurturing, family-based placement option for children with serious behavioral, emotional, or medical health needs to youth who need more than traditional foster care can provide. As a foster parent, you’ll offer a safe, supportive, and healing home where children/youth can work through their challenges with your guidance and care, all with the goal of family reunification when possible. You’ll be a key part of a child’s support team, and we’ll be with you every step of the way: • 24-hour on-call support from our professional team • Dedicated case manager for one-on-one guidance • Ongoing training to help you succeed in your role • All medical and therapy costs for the child covered through Virginia Medicaid, including: • Comprehensive assessment and personalized service planning • Psychiatric and educational consultation • Coordination of medical/healthcare services • Help maintaining contact and visits with the child’s birth family • Full wraparound mental health services (therapy, case management) Does the following apply to you? • You’re at least 21 years old • You own or rent a safe home with space for a child • You’re single or married • You’re patient, flexible, and energetic, ready to provide care (no prior parenting experience needed) • You’re open to learning and growing • You can pass a comprehensive background check and meet Virginia licensing standards • You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance Not the job you’re looking for?
