The UAM Engineering Services Administrator 1 is responsible for supporting the operations team by maintaining cost and timeline data related to engineering projects, ensuring efficient workflow processes, and providing administrative support. Responsibilities Assist with maintaining joint-use applications, client proposals, and data within client-specific software, including Google Suite, SPANS, NJUNS, and GIS platforms Maintain project cost and timeline data by recording and updating logs across various spreadsheets and platforms Effectively communicate between team members and clients through both written and verbal channels Follow project workflow procedures to ensure efficiency Maintain files and records using electronic filing systems Provide administrative support by redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings, and handling other tasks as needed Maintain confidentiality practices in accordance with company and client policy Ensure the proper care and maintenance of any vehicle and equipment assigned including regular inspections, maintenance checks, and prompt reporting of any issues to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel Understand and execute proper use of document management systems, proper filing, and document import/export React safely and appropriately in emergency situations Report and respond timely and accurately to the supervisor Participate in employee and professional training events as assigned Travel (5%) for on-site job duty training, projects, or meetings Perform other related duties as assigned Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules Skills A high-school diploma or equivalent Must be willing to obtain and maintain professional certificates and licenses commensurate with project requirements Must demonstrate proficiency in basic office applications and data entry. Must be willing to learn utility data tracking software applications, such as SPANS, NJUNS, and GIS platforms Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Draft intelligible, professional, and accurate correspondence. Effectively and clearly communicate and present information one-on-one and in a group Apply understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
