Job no: 494777 Work type: Administrative (Full Time) Location: Remote (within United States) Categories: Admissions/Recruiting/Enrollment Job Title: Enrollment Counselor-Northeast, TX Reporting Relationship: Director of Enrollment Unit: National & Global Department: SEP Strategic Enroll/Partner-NGBL Campus Location: Online/Remote Summary of Position: This Enrollment Counselor position plays a vital role in guiding high school graduates through the college admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment. This position represents the university at recruitment events, college fairs, transfer fairs, and campus visit days with the importance of serving as the primary point of contact for prospective students, families and high school or community college counselors. Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct virtual and in person admission appointment, interviews, and information sessions • Manage an assigned territory or program portfolio to meet or exceed enrollment key performing indicators (KPIs) • Represent the university at recruitment events, college fairs, and campus visit days (some travel required) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in financial aid, advising and evaluation to ensure a seamless student experience • Apply the enrollment and contact strategies to serve students in a timely manner through the process of discovery, admissions, and enrollment process • Coach students through a healthy process of discovery and exploration on their education options, which include building rapport, uncovering concerns, exploring students learning styles Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
