About the Role The Entry Level Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in our Express Service department, performing vehicle maintenance tasks as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring trust and confidence in AutoNation as a care-giver for vehicle safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication. Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques. Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and retention, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. Measuring Success The performance of our Entry Level Automotive Technicians is measured by achieving targeted production, sales, and customer satisfaction index goals. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to meet or exceed these targets, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently, effectively, and with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Requirements for Success To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic skills and knowledge. Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred, although we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong passion for the automotive industry. Attention to detail, ensuring that all work is performed accurately and to the highest standards. Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety, demonstrating a commitment to our core values and customer satisfaction. A valid in-state driver’s license and a safe driving record, ensuring that you can safely operate our vehicles and equipment.
