As a Behavior Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our care, working directly with clients and their families to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs. About the Role We're seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our growing team as Behavior Technicians. As an entry-level position, we'll provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in the role. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, implementing ABA therapy and collecting data on behavior and skill acquisition. Our team is guided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), who will supervise and support you in your work. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work, arriving on time and prepared for therapy sessions Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA Experience (or 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, or ABA Tutor) Excellent written and verbal communication skills A reliable vehicle and personal means of transportation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (we offer assistance with certification) Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients and their families The ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills Career Growth Opportunities At Key Autism Services, we're committed to supporting your career growth and development.
