As an Area Manager, you will also be instrumental in ensuring that our customer expectations are met, guaranteeing that orders are delivered to the right location at the right time. Our operations workflow is divided into three major components: First mile, where products are housed and ready for order; Middle mile, where orders are hauled to your area; and Last mile, where products are delivered to our customers' doors. While our workflows may have slight variations, our vision and dedication to our customers remain constant. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations Collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach in a fast-paced environment Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud Work in an environment subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including outside loading departments Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage your team.
