Job Overview The External Support Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for external content creation teams, providing technical assistance, training, and support to ensure the effective use of our tools and platforms. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and effective technical support to external content creation teams, addressing questions, issues, and concerns related to our tools and platforms. Develop and maintain comprehensive reference materials, guides, and training programs to onboard new teams and enhance the skills of existing partners. Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, collaborating with internal teams to resolve problems efficiently and improve overall system performance. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate development teams, ensuring prompt attention and resolution, and track progress through defect tracking software such as JIRA. Act as an advocate for external teams, gathering feedback and suggestions for tool improvements and workflow enhancements, and working with internal stakeholders to prioritize and implement these changes. Partner with engineers and other specialists to design, develop, and implement new tools and processes that increase efficiency, quality, and user satisfaction. Lead or participate in cross-disciplinary discussions to drive feature development from concept to launch, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of external teams and align with arenaflex's strategic objectives. Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions, maintaining a positive and supportive attitude even in challenging situations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience that demonstrates your technical capabilities and understanding of software development principles. Experience in supporting live services or tool environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality support and ensuring user satisfaction. Familiarity with Unity 3D game and tool development, as well as experience with mobile development for iOS and Android platforms. Proficiency in using defect tracking software such as JIRA, and experience with collaboration tools like Confluence. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and internal teams. A positive attitude, with a strong ability to receive and provide constructive feedback, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with C# code and a strong understanding of programming principles. Previous experience in a technical support or engineering role, with a focus on content creation or digital media. Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
