Entry Level Process Engineer
Join Jacobs as an Entry-Level Process Engineer in Indianapolis, working on innovative life sciences projects involving process design and simulation. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Implement, modify, and maintain process designs for life sciences projects. • Assist with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). • Model and simulate complex processes, ensuring proper sequencing for unit operations. • Develop process specifications and direct activities to ensure construction, installation, and operational testing meet specifications, codes, standards, and customer requirements. • Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. • Work under guidance of professional engineers, architects, and senior technical staff to establish process design basis, develop process options, optimize designs, and organize data for process flow sheets. • Collaborate within the Life Sciences team and engage with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. About You The company is looking for: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future. • Minimum 3.0 GPA. • Previous relevant internship experience. • Working knowledge of ASPEN-HYSYS, AFT Fathom & Arrow, Excel, and AutoCAD preferred. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or on track to obtain.
