Position Overview We have an excellent opportunity for a fully remote Environmental Project Estimator in our Hunt Valley, MD office. Responsibilities • Develop estimates of project costs. • Review estimates prepared by other company estimators and provided by subcontractors. • Develop and review cost estimating data for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) proposals. • Establish and refine corporate estimating policies and procedures. • Mentor operations staff who conduct project estimating functions. Required Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, geology, or related field. • 10 years of experience in estimating environmental remediation and munitions response projects. • Experience in developing, updating, and maintaining estimating systems. • Proven ability to work as a project estimator using MS Excel. • Experience with RS Means, HCSS and/or estimating packages. • Experience with MS Project and P6 Software desired. • Advanced skills in building/automating cost spreadsheets. • Aptitude to understand, present technical information, and multitask across a number of programs. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
