Equipment Technician

GKS Lifting and Moving Solutions, LLC is a company that manufactures and sells multi-ton lifting and moving equipment. They are seeking an Equipment Technician responsible for equipment evaluation, repairs, and inventory management, while collaborating closely with fabrication and repair partners. Responsibilities Maintain a high level of equipment and spare parts knowledge Read schematics/complete electrical repair – basic wiring for battery powered robotic machine skates Tool inventory and storage Equipment repairs in-house and at customer facilities Operation of company vehicle for customer repair support Read blueprints, schematics, and CAD files Evaluate damage, repair needs, and warranty requirements Coordination of repairs and parts with repair partners Coordinate with fabrication partners for custom projects Equipment, spare parts, and inventory control Work closely with sales team and customer service Manage repair schedule and maintain thorough documentation Work closely with our warehouse Communicate through email, Teams, and access all company documents and data bases Skills Mechanical, machine, equipment and/or electrical maintenance and repair Experience reading blueprints and schematics Experience within manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings Inventory control Works independently and is very organized Ability to measure accurately and use a wide range of tools Excellent verbal and written communication Basic computer skills Valid driver's license CAD experience a plus Mechanical and safety certifications a plus Benefits 3 weeks PTO during 1st year, 4 weeks PTO after 1 year Monthly health insurance premiums covered by company Health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, long term disability, and 401K Mileage reimbursement when not utilizing company vehicle Company phone and laptop All tools provided Company Overview For over 50 years the name GKS-PERFEKT has provided reliable and a fully complemented range of products for safe lifting and effortless moving of heavy loads.
