Executive Assistant, Current Series & Development (FX)
The Walt Disney Company is seeking a motivated Executive Assistant for FX Networks to provide administrative support to the SVP of Current Series and SVP of Development. The role involves managing busy calendars, coordinating information related to FX's series and development slates, and developing strong partnerships within the company. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to two SVPs, including, but not limited to, the following: Answer phones, manage calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls, make travel arrangements, handle expense reports, and perform various other administrative tasks Evaluate drafts of current projects and create reports for distribution Write episodic summaries and create current season reports Coordinate meetings, conference calls, events, or any other type of communication associated with FX Networks’ comedy and drama series Coordinate and disseminate information and material pertaining to FX Networks’ current series and development slate to other FX departments, our productions and studio partners Track submissions, manage delivery of incoming scripts and cuts, and track shooting schedules Support the department and other executives as needed, this includes scheduling meetings, updating the department records, and researching various assignments Skills 1+ years previous administrative experience at a talent agency, studio, network, or production company Must be a highly organized, task-oriented person, able to manage and disseminate a high volume of information and material punctually, properly and confidentially in a fast-paced, busy office environment Must be able to evaluate material and think analytically in relation to projects Strong verbal and written communication skills required Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and able to multitask and handle a high-pressure and high-volume atmosphere Must be resourceful, collaborative, and positive Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Proficiency with Airtable is a plus Benefits A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package The full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits Company Overview The Walt Disney Company started as a cartoon studio and evolves into sports coverage and television shows.
