We are seeking a visionary and enterprise-minded executive director to lead our Data and Analytics Solutions Strategy across Primary Care, Specialty Care and Oncology. This role will shape and execute the enterprise-wide data strategy, drive commercial growth, and unlock new value for pharmaceutical partners and patients alike. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in pharmaceutical data, a track record of building high-impact analytics organizations, and the ability to influence at the highest levels of the healthcare ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Strategy Leadership: Define and lead the long-term vision for CVS Health’s pharmaceutical data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and market evolution. P&L Ownership: Oversee the financial performance of the Data & Analytics portfolio, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Client & Market Influence: Serve as a senior ambassador to pharmaceutical manufacturers, shaping strategic partnerships across commercial, medical, and market access functions. Innovation & Capability Building: Champion the development of next-generation analytics capabilities, including AI and real-world evidence, to position CVS Health as a market leader in pharma analytics. Executive Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders across product, technology, operations, and client services to deliver integrated, scalable solutions that drive measurable outcomes. Talent Stewardship: Build and lead a high-performing, diverse leadership team; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. External Thought Leadership: Represent CVS Health at industry forums, regulatory discussions, and executive roundtables to influence the future of healthcare analytics. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of progressive leadership in pharmaceutical data, analytics, or healthcare strategy, including executive-level roles. 10+ years of proven success in leading enterprise-scale transformations and commercial growth initiatives. 5+ years of experience in working with Pharma data, being hands on with data developing analytics solutions. Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, including commercialization, real-world evidence, and regulatory trends. Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and external partners. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in relevant field of study. Experience within Fortune 100 healthcare or life sciences organizations. Track record of launching new business lines or innovation hubs. Expertise in AI/ML, data science, and digital health technologies. Familiarity with CVS Health’s data ecosystem and strategic priorities. Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) strongly preferred. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,195.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
