As an experienced Account Strategist for Mid-Market Sales at blithequark, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our clients by developing and implementing tailored advertising strategies that meet their unique needs. About the Role As a trusted advisor and competitive seller within blithequark's Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams, you'll work closely with small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to understand their marketing goals, challenges, and success metrics. Your expertise in digital advertising, combined with your exceptional communication and analytical skills, will enable you to craft compelling narratives and present data-driven recommendations that drive business growth. You'll be responsible for building and managing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering Google-caliber client service that exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Build and manage strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics. Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless workflows and project delivery. Plan for and achieve growth goals by presenting blithequark's advertising products and solutions that align with client marketing objectives. Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that quantify high-impact opportunities and drive client success. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blithequark's advertising products and solutions, leveraging this knowledge to inform client strategies and drive business growth. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media. Ability to travel 20% of the time. Preferred Qualifications While the above qualifications are essential, the following preferred qualifications will set you apart as a strong candidate: Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling. Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, and/or clients. Expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in blithequark Ads and other digital marketing platforms. Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and ability to achieve goals to drive growth. Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
