Job Synopsis The Agency Sales Manager is a knowledgeable authority for corporate travel management services at blithequark. As a singular patron, this role exercises significant judgment to drive consistent revenue, utilizing aspects of our organization and corporate client associations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key business relationships with Travel Management Company (TMC) accounts, negotiating contracts, and analyzing revenue and agreement performance to ensure objective compliance and profit. Key Responsibilities Act as an informed authority for TMC business for blithequark, providing expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external clients. Build key business associations with TMC accounts focused on business travel valuable learning experiences for blithequark, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our market share. With minimal direction from authority, exercise extensive judgment to manage the pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements, aiming to achieve the highest possible market share and yield in individual markets. Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop contract-official arrangements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing potential risks. Analyze revenue, limits, and agreement performance to guarantee objective compliance and benefit, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize results. Develop marketing-related promotions to assist with driving sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business loyalty teams to create targeted campaigns and initiatives. Manage the setup of TMC agency accounts through sales calls, negotiating agreements, and coordination with pricing, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration with our systems and processes. Plan business development and lead advancement of other agency accounts through collaboration with revenue management teams, ensuring exceptional passages are filed accordingly and driving expected revenue per the specifics of the agreement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and develop a strategy to ensure the organization is positioned suitably in the market, staying ahead of competitors and capitalizing on emerging opportunities. Monitor revenue, commissions, and agreement execution to guarantee maximum revenues and sales objectives are achieved, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance. Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for blithequark, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste. Prepare and execute local sales plans in accordance with corporate sales targets, guaranteeing blithequark is strategically positioned among its competitors and leveraging its position in the marketplace. Essential Qualifications 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail service environment or related area, demonstrating a strong understanding of sales principles and practices. Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree, providing a solid foundation in business, marketing, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong academic record and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Must be authorized to work in the U.S., with a valid work visa or citizenship, and a willingness to relocate or work remotely as needed. Preferred Qualifications Prior airline experience, with a deep understanding of the aviation industry and its unique challenges and opportunities. Prior exposure to and utilization of travel industry data reporting sources like Curve and Crystal, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce, with experience using sales software and systems to manage customer relationships and track sales performance. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the organization, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
