Job Overview The Air Customer Service Agent will be responsible for providing top-notch support to guests, travel agents, and internal stakeholders by handling air-related inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless travel experiences. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls, chat messages, emails, and voicemails regarding air issues, responding accurately and promptly to ensure timely resolution of guest inquiries. Perform ticketing activities, including issuance, refunds, exchanges, and amendments, to ensure that guests' travel arrangements are accurately reflected in their bookings. Track and resolve incomplete Passenger Name Records (PNRs) due to missing TSA data or airfares, ensuring that all necessary information is captured to facilitate smooth travel. Realign pricing within PNRs to collect additional revenue outside of final payment, optimizing revenue opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Certify all air tickets issued for passengers, updating the ticket match exception report to ensure that all tickets are accurately reflected in the system. Assign ancillary services to guests as requested, providing a personalized experience that meets their unique needs and preferences. Process guest entertainment, crew executive travel, VIP requests, and provide downstream communication to port agents, hotels, and ground transportation, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Research air schedules booked for crew outside of budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Process last-minute crew changes in regards to air accommodations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Provide next port protection coverage (flight re-accommodation) to accommodate passengers when needed, ensuring that guests' travel plans are minimally disrupted in the event of changes or cancellations. Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management to reduce communication-related work errors, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration. Consistently deliver on commitments to external and internal customers, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and follow-through. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: Experience in the travel and hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume call center environment, with a strong understanding of air travel operations and customer service principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent technical skills and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly. Excellent phone and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with travel suppliers, port agents, crew members, employees, other departments, and management. Knowledge of the Sabre airline reservation system, including creation of air bookings, ticketing, exchanges, pricing, routing, and queue processing, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and efficient manner. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with arenaflex unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.
