About the Role We're seeking an experienced Airline Customer Service Agent to join our team at San Francisco International Airport. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers on international flights, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to baggage pick-up. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to passengers on international flights, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner. Manage the passenger experience from check-in to boarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Assist passengers with special needs, such as those with disabilities or requiring wheelchair assistance. Work collaboratively with other teams, including airline staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Maintain accurate records and reports, including passenger data and incident reports. Develop and maintain knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate information to passengers. Work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening; fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in a second language is highly desirable. Customer service experience is preferred, but not required; we're happy to train the right candidate. Computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills; attention to detail is crucial. The ability to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet, and provide solutions to problems. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. The stamina to stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications We're particularly interested in candidates who: Are bilingual or multilingual, with language combinations such as English/Tagalog, English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, English/Vietnamese, English/Thai, English/Indonesian, English/Hindi, Gujarati, or English/Japanese. Have previous experience in the aviation industry or a related field. Possess knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and regulations.
