Job Overview and Key Responsibilities As an experienced Airport Customer Service Representative and Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' baggage and cargo are handled safely and efficiently. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination Guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions to ensure timely connections Work Environment and Schedule As a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced airport environment, where you will be required to lift, bend, and stand for long periods. You will also be exposed to harsh weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow. Our scheduling is based on operational needs, and shifts can range from early morning to overnight. You can expect to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority. Compensation and Perks The starting pay for this role is $21.85 per hour, with regular pay increases occurring over a period of 10.5 years.
