Job Highlights Position: Head Coach - Competitive Dance Team Location: Remote, with occasional travel to competitions and events Start Date: Immediate openings available Compensation: A competitive salary and benefits package Company: Workwarp, a leading organization in the competitive dance industry Key Responsibilities As the Head Coach of our competitive dance team, you will be responsible for leading the team to success in competitions and events. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing training programs to improve the team's technique, strength, and flexibility Creating and choreographing routines for competitions and events Conducting practice sessions and rehearsals to ensure the team is well-prepared for performances Providing feedback and guidance to team members to help them improve their skills and performance Collaborating with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective team environment Managing the team's schedule, including practice sessions, competitions, and events Ensuring the team's equipment and facilities are maintained and safe for use Supervising and mentoring assistant coaches and other staff members Organizing team events, such as fundraisers, workshops, and community outreach programs Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A strong background in dance, with experience in competitive dance teams or coaching Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Knowledge of dance techniques, including choreography, stunting, and tumbling safety A State of Illinois Professional Educator License registered in Will County, or have taken the A.S.E.P.
