Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Lebanon, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule. We offer the highest pay rates among substitute providers, with up to $190 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term assignments. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and support you need to excel in the classroom and make a positive impact on the lives of your students. Key Responsibilities Teach a variety of subjects to students of different ages and skill levels Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of your students Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced educational setting Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references with one by a previous direct supervisor NJ Substitute Credential Background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
