Key Responsibilities: Develop automation proposals to improve plant performance and align with set automation development strategies Lead automation projects to enhance site performance, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence Implement technical automation standards consistent with organization-chosen automation guidelines Create, develop, and maintain automation and digitization SOPs Support equipment, utility, and facility improvement projects relevant to energy efficiency, productivity, environmental compliance, and maintenance Support the development of engineering team skills relevant to automation, control, and digitization planning to foster a capable, high-performing team of specialists and associates Share and utilize best practices and expertise in areas of automation, control, and digitization Implement training programs for staff, designers, operators, and specialists in areas of automation, control, and digitization Oversee instrumentation and metering maintenance and calibration programs and ensure instrumentation, metering, and separate systems integrity, functional consistency, and quality performance Support and Alignment: Drive and improve technical availability, reliability, and condition of control, automation, and digitization assets Establish cost-efficient repair and maintenance/calibration processes in compliance with local regulations, HSE, GMP Define and implement asset grouping and lifecycle management of plant process control systems, automation, and digitization Develop, monitor, and improve control systems, automation, maintenance, and calibration plans Investigate deviations and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis with partners as applicable to process control, automation, digitization, and relevant systems Vendor and Contractor Management: Oversee and implement organization legally binding arrangements and procedures as pertinent to control, automation, digitization, and systems vendors/contractors and corresponding contracts carried out at the site Develop, review, and endorse vendors/contractors' agreements for control, automation, digitization, and systems Project Engineering and Control: Develop equipment specifications and system requirements for automation and digitization projects (e.g., Client Requirement Determination) Create and implement project Health and Risk Assessments (Equipment/Process) Develop test specifications/plans for commissioning and capability of automation and digitization projects Implement equipment FAT/SAT/examinations for automation and digitization projects Execute commissioning activities for automation and digitization projects Oversee automation and digitization project lacks and deviations Perform temporary and final task handover for automation and digitization projects Capability: Plan and implement periodic capability/re-capability plans for automation, digitization, instrumentation, and metering systems Automation: Create and design Process Control Systems Create and implement Coding/Recipes (DCS/SCADA/PLCs/Control Systems) Configure, implement, and maintain Historian Setup for modules/representation/OPEX Implement Software Change Controls related to automation/system changes Plan and implement Master Batch Records (MBR) for MES Establish and maintain PC Systems Life Cycle Management Develop and convey OT activities (e.g., Backup and Recovery/Fix Management/Remote Access/User Access) Establish and maintain new/adjusted end-to-end OT services/processes/procedures for Automation/ Manufacturing/QC equipment Essential Qualifications: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics PLC technical accreditation In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes Knowledge of programming design managers Detailed knowledge of PLC automation programming and coding languages Ability to work with minimal oversight Experience with PLC S7-1500, S7-400 Experience in PLC Programming language STL, SCL, LL Experience in HMI Programming Ability to coordinate with outside providers Precisely slanted, solid problem-solving skills, involved person Outstanding oral and written relational skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automation and control systems Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards Experience with project management and commissioning Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: As an Automation Engineer with Coca-Cola Remote Jobs, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your skills, and advance your career.
