Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls utilizing a multi-line telephone system, ensuring that all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally. Process requests by taking appropriate action, such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, or transferring calls to the relevant staff members. Maintain thorough records by documenting discussions, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries, ensuring that all customer interactions are well-documented and easily accessible. Resolve patient issues through independent problem-solving, with the goal of achieving first-call resolution whenever possible. Foster teamwork and partnerships with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform various tasks and maintain accurate records. Essential Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in English (read, write, and speak) and Spanish (speak) is required. Reliable cell phone and internet connection with a minimum speed of 10mb down and 1mb up (no satellite internet allowed). Experience in a highly customer service-oriented environment, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and support. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and helpful even in challenging situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a medical office setting, utilizing computer-based practice management software systems, is highly desirable. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to handle high call volume and multi-task while providing an exceptional customer experience. Experience with E-Clinical Works or other electronic medical records systems, such as Epic, Athena Health, or NextGen, is a plus. Knowledge of and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations is essential.
