About the Role We are seeking an experienced Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team as a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Specialist. As an FNOL Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing quality inbound communication services and recording First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in delivering outstanding service to our customer representatives and ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Accept inbound calls from engineers, technicians, and other field operators reporting FNOL, providing timely and professional support. Communicate effectively with customers, entering data accurately into our customized database, and ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. Report underground damage to locate companies when applicable, following established protocols and procedures. Provide outstanding service to customer representatives, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Analyze photos and map the correct location, using your analytical skills to determine the extent of the damage and ensure that all relevant information is captured. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute, error-free, with excellent written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDFs, and internet searches, with the ability to learn our customized database and software applications. Advanced phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening skills and the ability to analyze and interpret photos to determine damage. Excellent reading skills, with the ability to read and follow a script, and establish an appropriate work environment within your home for work purposes. 6 months to 1 year of previous customer service call center experience, with experience in Microsoft Teams being a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the subrogation process and the ability to work in a 24/7/365 environment. Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
