Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for performing information verification and patient enrollment, handling high-volume customer requests, and utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information. You will work under direct supervision and perform duties in accordance with arenaflex policies and procedures. This is a full-time remote job opportunity with a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour. Key Responsibilities Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering information into a suitable system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions. Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis. Resolve Third-Party Rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to payers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections. Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations. Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
