Our company has partnered with the New York State Department of Health to establish the New York Independent Assessor Program (NYIAP), which provides conflict-free assessments for Medicaid consumers who require personal care services or community-based long-term services and supports. Job Overview and Responsibilities In this hybrid remote position, you will work closely with our training leadership team to assess the impact of each training course and ensure that our trainees are successful. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and implementing training materials for call center staff Developing training schedules and facilitating classroom-style training sessions Providing administrative support to training classes and team members, including maintaining class rosters, attendance sheets, assessments, and evaluations Conducting role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills, such as teamwork and conflict management Communicating operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual agreements Assessing the impact of each training course on staff performance and contributing to training material development and updates Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Minimum 2 years of experience in call center operations or training Strong knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching, and instruction Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of people Ability to navigate through current and new methods of technology to collaborate with colleagues and deliver training Preferred Qualifications and Requirements While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 1 year of direct training experience in a human services environment and/or with instructional design and development 1 year of NYIAP project experience Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms Direct experience utilizing Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams for training Home Office Requirements To work remotely, you will need: A reliable high-speed internet service with minimum 25 Mbps download speeds/50 Mbps for shared internet connectivity Minimum 5 Mbps upload speeds A dedicated workspace that is quiet, private, and free from distractions Company-issued computer equipment will be provided Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Maximus, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
