Our company culture is built on the values of heart, integrity, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. **Job Summary** As a Category Manager in our Technology Supply Chain Management (SCM) Team, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of related Technology suppliers, particularly those supporting our Air Operations groups – including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers successfully meet business objectives, and you'll help to maximize supplier value and mitigate our risk by leading strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and drafting of contracts. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage a portfolio of related Technology suppliers, including those supporting Air Operations groups * Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to ensure suppliers meet business objectives * Lead negotiations with suppliers to maximize value and mitigate risk * Draft and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier performance and satisfaction * Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior level colleagues in the SCM space * Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in supplier performance * Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on Technology or a related field * Proven track record of success in managing complex contracts and negotiations * Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field * Certification in supply chain management, such as CSCP or SCMP * Experience working in the airline industry or a related field * Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation principles * Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel or Tableau * Ability to speak multiple languages **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time * Strong knowledge of contract law and negotiation principles * Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel or Tableau * Ability to speak multiple languages **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
