As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe and enjoyable space for all users. This will involve moderating chat conversations, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner. **Key Responsibilities:** * Moderating chat conversations to ensure that users adhere to community guidelines and rules * Deleting messages that violate community guidelines and rules * Banning users who repeatedly violate community guidelines and rules * Muting users who have violated community guidelines and rules * Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations * Collaborating with other team members to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive community environment * Providing excellent customer service and support to users * Staying up-to-date with community guidelines and rules to ensure that moderation is fair and consistent **Qualifications:** * Must be 18 years of age or older * Must have a High School Diploma or GED * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations * Familiarity with Discord and community management tools * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and rules **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a community management or customer service role * Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Discord and community management tools * Experience with conflict resolution and mediation **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and rules * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Discord and community management tools * Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
